Moi University VC Badly Trolled After Releasing A Press Release With Grammatical Errors On Rape And Killing Of Student
Moi University is once again in the limelight after a third year female student in the School of Arts got raped and killed by unknown people as she walked to her place in a private rented hostel outside the university.
The rape and murder of the student sparked demonstrations from students which later turned chaotic as they went on rampage and torched a police vehicle that had ferried police officers to cool the situation.
And as the situation still remains intense in the Eldoret-based institution of higher learning, the management through the Vice Chancellor has issued a press release detailing the situation in the institution.
If anyone thought it was only Nairobi Aviation whose management had problems with grammar, then you must be very wrong.

Prof. Richard Mibey, VC Moi University
In the release, Professor Richard Mibey makes typos that have left him get badly ridiculed and trolled after the release was circulated on social media.
The social media has never been forgiving you know that. They will cut your neck down the moment you commit an error.
Here is the release that has questioned left Prof. Mibey on the spotlight, linguistically though:

Simon AgakHas he a secretary I wonder; such is too low coming from an office of that status!
Shujaa NdegeHii ni mbaya.
Bw Oyugi MakosaRIP Grammar we loved you but Mibey loved you most
Jar Car Magambothe police was informed and they…nono.the university has liased not have lised…university is an entity.parents have been informed of the incidents…which parents? Parents of the deceased have been informed of the incident.coherence has also been compromised.secretaries need to attaend some grammar classes.
Jo Mathengei bet this was authored by someone else in the PR/Corporate offices; the good old prof. will be disappointed as well.
