Mombasa Based Radio Station Fires Its Workers!
Life in the city is hard,it is especially hard for members of the fourth estate,journalists.Just like an airborne disease the firing trend is spreading at an alarming too fast too furious rate and it seems it is not slowing down anytime soon.
First it was K24 showing the door to their poached journalist,Kiss TV swiftly followed suit sacking over 40 of its employees and now Radio Salaam in Mombasa has joined the band wagon firing 15 of employees.
According to Jackal news the unlucky 15 radio were kicked out to the cold mean streets in the name of ‘restructuring’ the company.There were those however who were handed a half-life where they were to work on a freelance basis.
If you thought your life sucked, there are a lot of Kenyan journalists having it rough.
