Mother-In-Law’s Mustapha Gives Maina Kageni Some Serious Competition
28th September 2015 marks a great day in the life of one Andrew Muthure commonly known as Mustapha thanks to his role as a Swahili cook on Citizen TV’s hit show “Mother-In-Law”.
The funny man will join the likes of other comedians like Chipukeezy, Wilbroda, Jalang’o, Nyambane and even Mwala who started out on TV before embarking on a career in radio.
Andrew has joined Hot 96 for the “Hot Breakfast” which runs from 6 AM to 10 AM Monday to Friday. The same time which Maina and King’angi in the morning runs. Andrew Muthure will be working alongside David Oyuke for a show that “Keeps it real, with no masks, lovely music and hot discussions.”
On landing his new job, Andre wrote “12 years, I’ve pursued and knocked on doors for a chance to be on Radio…Well good things come to those that wait. On Monday, my search comes to an end. To God Be The Glory
