My Wife Betrayed Me, Bankrupt Maurice Odumbe Confesses

In the Bible we read about the story of Samson and Delilah. In his time, Samson was the strongest man is the land, his power was unrivaled, his victories legendary.

But his downfall was a woman named Delilah to whom he revealed to that his strength lay in his hair so they shaved off his locks rendering him powerless. After this the Philistines gouged out his eyes, imprisoned him and made them their slave.

 The story of Odumbe is much less dramatic but he reveals that he had a Delilah in his life, his wife who sold him out t o the International Cricket Council who slapped a ban on him for match-fixing.

He says that she was approached by the investigators who were assigned to  probe into the  match-fixing  allegations and that’s when she sold him out. He says that no one believed him since he was just a poor guy from Parkroad and the chief witness against him was a white woman, his wife.

 He reckoned that they were quick to believe her because she was white and she told them everything they wanted to hear before breaking down.
