Mzee Ojwang To Be Buried Hours After Obama Leaves Kenya
Veteran Vitimbi actor, Mzee Ojwang, will finally be laid to rest hours after the world’s most powerful man departs to Ethiopia.
Mzee Ojwang’s death has been overshadowed by Obama’s historic visit to his father’s land as the seating President of America.
Kenyans are torn between mourning the veteran comedian and celebrating Obama’s ‘homecoming’ which is just 8 days away.
The country is in a jubilant mood despite the death of one of the country’s legends. Basically the leader of free world has set the mood in Kenya!
It could be because of Obama’s meticulous entry into the 254 that the committee planning Mzee Ojwang’s funeral decided to wait a day after President Obama departs to finally bury the fallen actor.
Obama will be leaving Kenya on 26th July heading to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Diplomatic sources had indicated the US leader will be departing on Sunday night.
Ojwang will be laid to rest on Tuesday the 28th of July. You can be sure it’s a confirmed date since it was the flamboyant Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, who communicated the date.
