Nairobi Half Life Heads to London
Nairobi Half Life will show at the African Film Festival in London. The festival is the largest African cinema showcase in the UK. The Kenyan crime drama has the honor of being the opening night showcase.
The event will take place between November 1st and 11th and show 70 films from the continent. Over 30 filmmakers are expected at the festival which will also offer Q&As, professional workshops and African themed nights.
The festival is organized by the Royal African Society. Others involved in the venture include SOAS, University of London and Film Africa.
This is not the first time the film will be shown outside the country. Even before opening in Kenya, it was an entrant at the Durban International Film Festival. It is currently showing in Zambia’s Fresh Cinemas. NHL is also set to premier in Germany.
