Nation F.M’s Obinna Weighs In On the Controversial Marriage between Nigerian Governor and Stunning Cape Verdean Model

Late last week, Friday to be precise, Nigeria’s Edo  governor Adams Oshiomhole tied the knot with 36 year old Lara Fortes, who is 27 years younger than him as he is 63.

The wedding was attended by the who-is-who in Nigeria including Nigeria’s president elect Muhammadu Buhari.

As expected of such a union, the relationship has caused controversy with many claiming that the young Fortes is too young for him but the governor maintains that the woman is full-grown  describing her as “very humble, she appreciates the nature of his job and life that he returns home late, sometimes 3am. She understands his weaknesses; she is more or less the mother of the house, the one that has accepted to be the mother of my children.”

Despite singing praises in honor of his new bride, skeptics have taken to social media to heavily criticize the marriage saying that it was ‘based on money’ .
