Nazizi Concedes Defeat To Tanzania And Uganda…But Who Is She Laying Her Blame On?

It is very rare for an artiste, and not just an artiste but many people in a competition, to concede defeat even when it is crystal clear they are on the losing end.

For Nazizi, it has come too early after the veteran singer admitted that Tanzania and Ugandan artistes are far much ahead of their Kenyan counterparts in terms of music.

Speaking at Tanzania’s Clouds FM, the Kenyan singer has said that Kenyan artistes come third when it comes to matters music, ahead of Tanzanians who take the first position and Ugandans who come second.

However, Nazizi has her blame on someone for the decline in Kenyan music. While others blame it on the local media for failing to give them airtime, Nazizi blames the corporates for failing to sponsor and/or use artistes on their advertisements.

Nazizi lamented that while Tanzania is using its artistes for adverts and other things, Kenya does not see any need on the same and that Kenyan artistes are left on their own, making it difficult for their work to be recognised.

The singer has urged Kenyans to support their own artistes to help them grow in the industry.
