New Painless Circumcision Device Lands in Kenya (Video)
A new less painful and safer circumcision device has landed in the country. Known as “Shang Ring”, the device originated from China and set to encourage to male circumcision as a way of reducing the spread of HIV.
According to those who’ve used it, it’s less painful compared to the traditional way. An interviewed doctor said it takes only 4 to 6 minutes as opposed to the conventional way which took 10 to 20 minutes. However, Kenyan scientists are awaiting the results of a study on a new device touted to speed up male circumcision.
