New York based Ghanaian-American MC Coming To Kenya
New York based Ghanaian-American MC Blitz the Ambassador known globally for his inspiring music is on his way to Kenya for a special listening party for his new album Diasporadical at Ebony Lounge, Westlands.
This will be on February 18th from 10pm where he will be hosted by Nairobi Rapsody in conjunction with African Hip Hop.com and Amarula. A world traveller and performer, Blitz has been touring the world and releasing new music without as much as a break. He’s currently gearing up for a tour across the motherland which will take him to Zanzibar for the Sauti za Busara festival and finally to his homeland Ghana. In between Zanzibar and Accra he will make a stopover in Nairobi, which will be his first visit to Kenya ever. His Kenyans fans will be the first to hear his latest unreleased album Diasporadical; this is special for Kenya to be first. On this evening, Blitz will be joined on stage by Muthoni the Drummer Queen who also has a remix with a top international artist and the DJ will be Just A Band’s Blinky Bill. ABOUT NAIROBI HIP HOP RAPSODY
Nairobi Hip Hop Rapsody is the only home of classic hip hop in Kenya. This is the only venue in Kenya where the subculture’s fans can listen and experience the real culture. Recently international Hip Hop legend Talib Kweli performed leaving fans with a special experience in their minds making Nairobi Rapsody the only night in Kenya that consistently promotes and merges global hip hop.
