Talk of getting to see the man’s soft under belly!

Itumbi let us see his more vulnerable side: his humane side by letting us know that he does more than break controversial stories.

When i asked him about what humanitarian activities he does, i was pleasantly shocked to find out that he has taken it upon himself without the hubris and the hullabaloo of the media fanfare to do it.
He spoke of… Nah, watch to find out just what he has been doing to help the victims of the massacre.

Chim Obiajulu: What are your thoughts on the Tana River Region Massacre?
Dennis Itumbi: With what is going on at Tana River, you realise that alot of the people who want their stories told just want salvation. For instance, a mother and her child who’ve been hiding in a thicket near River Tana where and they were saying they’d been hiding in that thicket for some time and what they need is food. And when i asked them whether they would need Mpesa because i thought it was money they needed, they said they need food. Irrespective of the facts, i choose not to look at the merits of the case but to the issue that they are speaking about a particular matter and react to it. I spoke to Red Cross and did my bit to send help their way.
