Open Letter To The Kameme Radio Presenter Accused Of Tribal Language Against Luos!

I received this email from a concerned Kenyan and I felt compelled to share it because it touched a cord in my heart. I won’t edit it. The letter is in response to this article. Go through it and enjoy:

“Does my name really matter  here, I truly don’t think so but if you so curious then here you go. They call me Stewart ask yourself why am using my Caucasian names and not my family name it’s not that am a coward, oops!! Nope, that’s not me and am not of that type, am a gal who walks her head on high and doesn’t take crap as jokes and instead I take and value respects very much. People who respect themselves, others their everything turn out to be my best pals. My motto has been HATE ME OR LOVE ME WHICH EVER WAY I DON’T CARE BUT THE FACT REMAINS I DESERVE RESPECT.  I do respect others despite their Religion, Tribes, Traditions and everything and I do that I may  earn the respect back. Am one angry Kenya lady who feels that enough is enough of all this childish behavior between this two Kenyan Tribes Kikuyus and Luos. This first goes to our leaders who are the source of this whole crap and mind u leaders don’t have to be the big people in our government, nay, a leader is anyonewho influences a group of people in the society towards the achievement of a goal.  So you can be a leader too in one way or the other. I was so embarrassed to see a Kikuyu presenter posting hate speech on Facebook towards the Luos that’s so sick of you Gentleman. I thought you should be the salt to our country. I thought you should be on air preaching of loving one another and letting bygones be bygones. I thought you are a youth like me, who we can share ideas of businesses like transporting fish from Kisumu to Nyeri or transporting maize and beans from Nyandarua to Kisumu. I thought you are a role model to the Y-Generation but poor me I was mistaken. I don’t mean to be uncouth or harsh but allow me ask some few quiz’s , How was you hired and which criteria was used to hire you because as a journalist you are at wrong place, doing the wrong thing  at the wrong time in short you are lost. Starting with our leaders in the parliament down to the village elders its time you all come together and talk to your people. The BIBLE says LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH. My heart aches when you read newspapers online and find some comments below , u find WAKIKUYU NI WEZI KENYATTA ALIIBA SHAMBA YA BABU YANGU, in the first place was you there? The shut up, secondly that was your grandpas property not yours so shut up for the second time, and then did your grandpa ever told u he needed you like his or her lawyer then shut up GOD will deal with them in heaven. Whatever things one does here on earth they will be accountable for in HEAVEN. Next comment, it’s one of those comments you don’t want to see WAJALUO WANAOMBANGA OMIERI/OMWERI WAJALUO HAWAJATAE, shut up and be a men or a lady, did he show you that he is not yet circumcised then y is it bothering you, is it your business whether someone amekatwa ama la ? Kama hali vya kwako shida ni nini. Luos and Kikuyus its time you let each tribe be and stop being low life people. So sad that this characters are all over internet, a very learned kikuyu man or a very learned luo man posting hate speech towards each other this is so naïve. My mother once told me it’s better to be wise than to have all the wealth, knowledge and riches of this world and have a low IQ. I love Luos so am sure that gives you a hint what I am coz am sure that’s still lingering in your mind Ndi Mugikuyu (I am a kiuk) but that’s not necessary, so Am a Kenyan by blood and origin. For how long will we hold on grudges ? For how long will we keep insulting each other ? When will we ever learn to respect each other with their everything ? Why don’t we lay everything at the foot of HIS cross. JESUS never appointed anyone here on earth to help HIS FATHER  in judging and condemning instead HE said ACCEPT ONE ANOTHER AS MY FATHER HAS ACCEPTED ME. No tribe is so special than the other we are all Kenyans. If one tribe feels there more special then they are in the wrong soil and they should vacate with their everything to somewhere in Pluto. LUOS AND KIKUYUS get this in your heads that we all belong to one GOD and its time we grow up and behave. We are all Kenyans come what may even if you move to whichever continent you are still my brother and sister from another mother. May the GOD who gives wisdom give it to us (LUOS AND KIKUYUS). MUNGU AWABARIKI NA AWAPE HEKMA..ONE LOVE TO YOU ALL SWEET KIKUYUS AND SWEET LUOS.”
