Photo of The Day: Peace On The Streets, Violence On Social Media

We are all aware of the tribal hatred that that has characterized the social media in recent days. The hatred take the form of people either condemning or insulting the opposing presidential candidate (Uhuru or Raila).Opposing camps are also calling each other names. The “losing side” gives manner of all reasons why their man must have won the election and the “winning side” are celebrating and castigating the mourners. All these have perpetuated hatred between the two antagonizing tribes on Facebook and Twitter.

This could not be portrayed any better as done by the ever creative cartoonist Gado. It’s for this reason that this photo deserves to be the day’s photo.
