Plus-Size Radio Queen Reveals How Her Weight Almost Killed Her Dreams

She is the poster child for confident plus sized women in Kenya, so it’s hard to believe that someone so self-assured, affable and social once dealt with insecurity.

Neomi Ng’anga’ revealed to her followers that her weight had been an impediment she had to conquer in order to achieve what she was really created for, her dreams.

But with time she actually learnt that success had little to do with the curve of your hip, the bulge on the side or how you looked and more to do with how optimistic you are.

This is what she wrote “Some years back I never had the courage to face my dreams because of being a plus size lady. Gradually, I came to realise that success in anything is determined by the optimism in your mind not your looks. I thank God and my fans for this far. “
