Popular Singer Tears Into The Government And Demands For Action Over Insecurity

The state of security has been a subject of discussion in the country for a while after a series of attacks on Kenyans left many of them dead, the most recent being the Mandera attack carried out by Al-Shabaab insurgents who ambushed a bus and killed 28 christians at close range.

This angered the nation so much that even demonstrations were held to press the government to act on the issue.

And now as everyone is airing their views, singer Suzanna Owiyo has come out strong to demand that the government be held responsible for security issues in the country.

Suzanna has stressed that the government has the responsibility to protect every citizen because by not protecting citizen, the government is denying them their rights.

Suzanna is laying blame on the government following the latest spate of attacks that has left more than 50 dead in less than one month.

“Truth be told.Our security is wanting! Govt. has the mandate to protect its civilians.Kenyan citizens have the right to demand their safety.”
