President Uhuru Kenyatta Confirms His Attendance At Tomorrow’s Groove Awards

Seems like the Groove Awards will be a pretty big deal this time around, with the President himself confirming that he will be among the guests. After heated rumors speculating whether he will be there, he announced:

 “Join us tomorrow as we commemorate the 50th Madaraka day at Nyayo National Stadium. Please also join us in the evening for the Groove Awards at KICC as we celebrate Gospel singers, songwriters and musicians for their immense contribution to the East African Gospel music industry. Thank you and God Bless you all.”

I have confirmed amongs the Mo Sound crew that Uhuru Kenyatta will be arriving by car, and you know what that means: traffic. So if you will be attending the show, you have to be super early to avoid the crush.
