Pulse Writer Tony Mochama Tears Into Juliani And Brenda Wairimu
The names Jezebel and Delilah are not the types of names women are happy to be associated with and with good reason. Jezebel and Delilah are names used to describe women who are gold-diggers and/or spiteful.
Tony Mochama of the Pulse has basically called Brenda Wairimu a gold-digger. In his weekly piece “Star Scope” he has gone in at Juliani in the pretence of fortune telling. And Mochama has gone HAM questioning his taste in and choice of women he dates. For those of you who’ve just surfaced from under a rock, Juliani and Brenda Wairimu are dating -i know, this lad has impeccable taste.

When i read the article, i called up Juliani for his response to the piece and he was calm and collected about the vitriol that has been spewed his way. he merely said that the people questioning his decision to date Brenda Wairimu just don’t know her. Plus they’d been dating for around seven months before they announced their relationship to the world so the people claiming she’s just a gold-digger don’t have a basis for talking greasy.
I couldn’t reach Brenda Wairimu by the time i was writing this article. But Uncle Chim Tuna is disgusted at the manner in which the Pulse writter has gone about doing this piece. He wrote and i quote, “Like Delilah to Samson and Jezebel to Ahab, so will Brenda be to Juliani. In his attempts to impress her, he’ll turn to the holy herb to get the courage of a mad Arab. Juliani will get a little jealous as Brenda attracts more suitors and resort to more desperate means to hang on to her and burn moola in the process.”
What was it Akon asked? Oh yeah, “Why you wanna count a n***a money?” Get your mind out of lads pocket and back on your grind. That’s for starters. This is some vomit inducing pettiness. You do not write about someone with such venom! I thought journalism is about being neutral? Is this neutral? then again, what do i know about journalism? I’m just a “bothersome blogger” right? Wrong, i choose to be positive not because i am scared of anyone but merely because i’m tired of writers turning into (character) assassins. This article reads like the rumblings of a spurned lover.
Brenda is a nice person and so is Juliani. If you have a vendetta with any or both, sort it out in person like we used to back in the day rather than writting such venomous articles. And again i have to ask, how does the editor let such articles go to print? Rooooobbish!
