Racist Chinese Restaurant In Trouble With The Law
It all started with a Facebook post and now it has evolved into an ugly case that can no longer be bridled .
Last week, one Chinese restaurant was accused of denying black people access after 7 P.M something which they unashamedly accepted saying that black people were a threat to security. It is said that the restaurant had been raided; their patrons robbed by black people last year and so the presence of people with melanin after 7.PM was a threat to security.
Their blatant ethnic profiling had Kenyans and other foreigners up in arms because racism is an out-of-date practice plus how can you discriminate against the people who host your restaurant?
The banning of black people from the restaurant has come back and bitten them in the butt as it has been discovered that the he owner of the restaurant was operating without a license. Talk of sticking out your neck and getting caught!
The owner, Zhao Yang is now expected to appear at the Milimani law courts on the 26th of March where he will answer to charges of operating without a license which breaches the Constitution
