Rejected TPF Star, Juliet, About to Get a Grand Makeover
When she got kicked out from the last season of Tusker Project Fame, many said it was because of her fairly unpolished looks. Many came out to Juliet Karanja’s aid to make her more superstar-like.
Even before the end of Project Fame, Juliet won another talent contest. She was picked by Coca-Cola as one of the two artistes who would perform the Olympic anthem. Months after the drama, she is to launch a new look in 10 days.
One of Kenya’s best makeover artistes has been working with the singer to ensure she achieves the superstar look. Kangai Mwiti, who started out her mastered her skills while she worked in the fashion-heavy cities, Los Angeles and New York.
She is one of the founding members of Stingo, where she initiated a movement of creative professionals to bring innovation and revolution to the design community in Kenya. Project Manager and Lead Makeup Artist for team projects in film, television, print and multimedia advertising industries.
At Stingo, she worked some notable artistic creatives like stylists Sunny Dolat and Kepha Maina, photographer and videographer Jim Chuchu and models Kwame Bonsu, Ian Mugoya, Brenda Wairimu, Thogi, Namnyak and Amar among others.
The makeover by the celebrated makeup artiste comes just when Juliet is just about to release a new track. The full makeover will be unveiled on September 27th. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below.
