Revealed: The Willy Paul Expose’ was All Courtesy of This “Little man”. Trust me, It would Not Have Seen the Light of Day

So yesterday we broke the story of the year if not the month which exposed Willy Paul to the whole world; the real Willy Paul and not the one blowing up our airwaves with sweet melodies about “mama”. No pun intended by the way.

But it took a lot of work to put all the pieces together, from when we got the lead to actually getting to interview Willy Paul’s mum who had quite an emotive story to tell. It wouldn’t have been at all possible though if it wasn’t for the Kaduda phone by Orange. I tell you this gadget truly saved the day.

First it was quite an uphill task to get into contact with her and when we finally did, we all dashed out of the office ready to go milk the whole thing dry. Nobody seemed to notice that the office phone which we had communicating with was running dry on charge. So there we are somewhere in the middle of Mathare Area 4 with a dead phone. Trust me that was one of the most depressing situations I’ve ever found myself in. A hot story was slowly slipping out of our hands and there was nothing we could do about it. Our htc’s are all nano sim’s so there was no way we could transfer the sim card and the way the place looked all crowded, the possibility of finding a place to charge the phone was next to nil. Plus you can’t trust anyone these days.

Actually we were all about to give up, pack up and leave until Martin who broke the exclusive removed his kaduda from the pocket. It was full charge and it had two sim slots, yippee! I couldn’t believe just how luck was slowly crippling back our way. So right there and then, we called Willy Paul’s mum and that’s how the whole thing unfolded.

I couldn’t believe such a mere thing could have such a magnitude so I took time to caress and look at it later and I came to learn that besides being twin sim, it also has quite some cool features. Like I noticed it also has quite an impressive battery which can last for hours on end. Martin claimed that it can last for at least 3 days while fully functioning.

In addition it has also quite a good camera so those selfies are definitely in order. Its ability to access facebook also ensures that you share those selfies with your friends and have your 5 minutes of fame. Like can you imagine posing with Ghafla guys who have basically revolutionized blogging? Awesome right? Martin specifically stated to have bought it because of its flashlight just in case he goes home sloshed and he has to maneuver the dark alleys of his neighbourhood.

Anyway that’s not even the coolest part; the fact that it only costs 999 bob is more than enough reason to get yours.
