Revitalize Wellness Center Donates 1 Million Kshs to Faraja Cancer Center (Photos)
Leading lifestyle and wellness center, Revitalize Wellness Center over the weekend held a fundraiser in support of breast cancer survivors.
During the fundraiser themed Pink Party, Revitalize Wellness Center donated Sh1million to Faraja Cancer Support Trust for their medical fund. The funds will be used to support underprivileged cancer survivors to access decent treatment.
Speaking at the event, RWC Managing Director Susan Rodrigues said, “It was great seeing customers come in huge numbers to support the cause. We believe in giving back to the society and supporting the needy in the society.” Mrs. Rodrigues said that RWC donated 15% of all profits raised through special Pink Spa and Salon Packages during the month of October to Faraja Cancer Center.

“Furthermore, we donated 25% of all proceeds from the Pink Party Day,” she said. On her part, Faraja Cancer Support Trust Founder Trustee, Shaira Adamali lauded the initiative. “We are happy that the donation will go towards paying medical fees for cancer survivors under our care.” Ms Adamali said.
At the moment, Faraja has supported over 500 survivors with medical assistance. Faraja Cancer Support Trust (Faraja) was founded in 2010. It’s mission is to provide emotional, practical and physical support to anyone affected by cancer in Kenya.
