Ruth Matete Is a Troubled Soul; This Is What Is Troubling Her and Making Her Cry

We all face difficulties as human beings and even celebrities have their own share of worries gnawing in the back of their head.

Ruth Matete is no different and she opened up about  what was troubling her:

“It’s been a few weeks now, and I have had so many questions running in my head. I have cried. I have prayed. I have pretended that all is well. ” she begins.

“But truth is I have been hurting. Apart from music, writing is the other thing I do when am stressed. So below is what I wrote today frown emoticon

ME
You smile with me. You laugh with me
Make me feel like you’re fine with me
But deep inside you loathe me
Each time you look at me,
I can feel your envy towards me
So I keep asking me
Is it you, or is it me?
You dress better than me
You smell better than me
You look better than me
So I ask, what do you want with me?

Maybe you’ve seen something in me
Something you wish was in you and not me
But darling I can only be me
And you can only be you and not me
Am done with you pretending with me
Am done with you hurting me
Am done with you looking down on me
