Sauti Sol Lands Tanzanian Support For MTVEMA Best Worldwide Act Award

The Kenyan singing group is the talk in town and beyond after their exploits in the MTVEMA awards where they bagged the Best Africa Act award and many have voiced their pleasure at the way in which the Sauti Sol is representing Kenya in the outside world.

After President Uhuru Kenyatta sent them a message of good luck in their other remaining award, the MTVEMA Best Worldwide Act, and thanking them for their visit to State House for his birthday, support for the group of four is now going beyond our borders to the neighbouring countries.

Among the first countries to show support for Sauti Sol in their pursuit of the award is Tanzania as its media houses and websites are urging Tanzanians to vote for Sauti Sol so that they can beat their competitors from outside Africa.

Bongo5, a famous website and arguably the largest entertainment website in Tanzania was the first to show support for Sauti Sol as the website urged its audience to massively vote for SAuti Sol.

This is a wake-up call for Kenyans and Africa at large to support their own Sauti Sol by voting them for the prestigious award in Glasgow, Scotland.

Sauti Sol will be battling musicians from other parts of the world for the awards after they beat Tanzania’s Diamond and Nigeria’s Davido to the Best African Act.
