Sauti Sol’s Mudigi Savara Jumps Into Acting

You know him as a singer in Afro-pop band Sauti Sol but Mudigi Savara has added another feather in his cap, as an actor.

The singer will be starring in a film called ‘Veve’ that is from the producers of NAIROBI HALF LIFE, SOUL BOY & SOMETHING NECESSARY it is directed by Simon Mukali and written by Natasha Likimani.

He will play the role of Julius alongside seasoned actor Gerald Langiri.

His band mates took to Facebook to congratulate him on his latest achievement saying that :
Congrats to our brother, Sauti Sol member @savaramudigi for his role in a major film: VEVE as Julius. The world Premiere of the new Kenyan/German co-production was yesternight at the 35th DURBAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. Find out more as the film premieres August 28th 2014 at Century Cinemax The Junction, Nairobi.

The production is made its’ worldwide premier at 35th Durban International Film Festival on July 20th 2014.

Synopsis
VEVE
follows
the
lives

politician,
is
running
for

affairs

solace
in
Kenzo,
a
conflicted
young
