See Caroline Mutoko’s Reaction to the Star Newspaper’s Viral Story

Yesterday the Star newspaper published one story that made all tongues talking about it and one Caroline Mutoko being a concerned party, she had to weigh in on the story.

The article“Nine cows for dads who educate girl” attracted attention from many quarters and Caroline Mutoko had to voice in her opinion as well. Caroline was all excited by the idea of Laikipia governor Joshua Irungu who pledged to give pastoralists dads nine cows each if they sent their daughters to school in an incentive that is geared towards encouraging girls to complete their education and reduce the number of child marriage.

As obvious, Caroline was a bit skeptical about the governor’s pledge. “Legislature is all good but we are also the kind of country that look very good on paper but when it comes to actually enforcing what is on paper we are rubbish” Caroline uttered. She was however encouraged by the idea and she revealed she is believes in finding cultural solutions for cultural problems.
