Ever since she moved to Nigeria after she got married, gospel singer, Emmy Kosgei, had set her eyes on climbing the social ladder in the West African nation.

Emmy Kosgei left Kenya for Africa’s most populous country shortly after walking down the aisle. She left everything back at home to go built a new life altogether with her Nigerian hubby, Apostle Anselm Madubuko.

The ‘Taunet Nelel’ hit maker was a big name in the country but in Nigeria she still has a long way to go to break through the congested industry. Those guys are like 5 times our population, you can imagine the competition there.

All in all, Emmy has managed to penetrate into the Nigerian celebrity circle. The gospel singer recently mingled with Nollywood’s big names including Desmond Elliot.

Desmond is one of the accomplished actors in the Nigerian movie industry, he recently won a parliamentary seat in the concluded elections.
