Mike Sonko’s shocking slur against a homosexual named Amina left many jaws on the floor with many thinking ‘Did He just say that’
Sonko shared a video of the gay prostitute and captioned it “Hii Coast Iko Na Mambo Sana Angalia Huyu Shoga Mwengine Ati Anaitwa Amina Kutoka Kisauni. Shindwee Amina Unafaa Kuchomwa.”
A slur that has been met with strong opposition form his followers who feel that his message could incite shocking violence towards homosexuals. Her are some reactions:

David Irungu: hapo Sonko umepotoka, si ninyi ndio mnaapa kutumikia wananchi bila ubaguzi wa itikadi, dini, rangi, na kadhalika. Kama si Mkristo wala Mwislamu, si Mkenya? Siungi mkono ushoga wala usagaji lakini kuna vitendo vingine ambavyo ni dhambi sawa na ushoga. Afadhali huyu hata hali mali ya umma kama wanasiasa wafisadi na walanguzi wa mali na dawa za kulevya zinzowaathiri wananchi. huyu si gaidi, si mwizi, si mla rushwa, hauzi mihadarati, analipa kodi, anatii sheria, hajahusika na kashfa za mali ya umma.
