Should ‘Bhangi’ Be Illegal? New Research proves that it’s Much Safer than Alcohol and Cigarettes

Despite the dangers of alcohol abuse among them liver cirrhosis, addiction, brain damage, mouth and throat cancer and the dangers of smoking among them erectile dysfunction, addiction, diabetes complications not forgetting the cancer connection, these two recreational drugs are still legal.

But Marijuana has been illegalized in many countries and I remember growing up, smoking ‘bhangi’ was possibly the worst thing you would do to your parents. Marijuana use was for the riff raffs in society, hippies and those that had given up on life. We were often warned that our first dance with Mary Jane was the beginning of a long dark road that would eventually lead to your horrid death.

Years on, weed is frowned upon and illegal despite pro-marijuana sharing some of its benefits such as relieving pain for glaucoma and cancer patients. And new research proves that the drug is also safer than other recreational drugs like cigs and booze.

The drug is said to be about 114 times less lethal than alcohol. In fact alcohol was more toxic than heroin and cocaine!

Research also claims that you are less likely to overdose from the use of Marijuana, less likely to get addicted.But before you roll up a blunt remember that continuous use of any drug has negative health consequences.
