So You Think You Can Dance?

Kenya has had only one dance competition show, thus far but no single awards show for dancers. So, Perskies Entertainment is holding Dance Krew Awards for the first time on Kenyan soil.

This event aims at rewarding groups with the best dance routine from all over the country. What’s more interesting is that basically all genre of music are represented in the categories to take part in. Here are some of them; Hip hop category, Traditional African category, Salsa category, Lingala category and Ragga/Dancehall category.

The Gala night for the awards will take place in November after which the voting lines shall be open to the public. The awards are slated to take place sometime in December.

Participation forms are ready, so interested dance groups can submit their entries by sending mails to kenyandancer@yahoo.com or perskysentertainment@yahoo.com and the forms shall be sent to you.

The entries are open to all dance crews until the 24th of October.
