#SomeoneTellNigeria: Now Bamboo Takes Shots At Nigerian Rappers!
With all the furore surrounding the Kenya vs Nigeria game and the Twitter tweef that has pit the two African nations -one a giant in matters football, the other not so much- against each other, it would seem that Kenyan rappers are itching for a piece of the action.
Kenyan veteran rapper Bamboo took a swipe at his Nigerian counterparts by tweeting the following:
#someonetellnigeria that @TheRealBamboo will battle ANY Nigerian rapper! “So much bacteria in Nigeria that malaria got sic of the area”lol!
The thing however about the tweet is that is was from the first installment of the #SomeoneTellNigeria tweef that has now begun being retweeted. Personally, I’d love to see bamboo and other Kenyan rappers who can carry their own in English (for the sake of a common language) take on any of Naija’s rap luminaries; maybe M.I or Ice Prince or maybe Ikechukwu or Jesse Jagz or Naeto C or Olamide. that would be epic!
