Jaguar is well known for his philanthropy. He has earned admiration and respect from Kenyans of all walks of life over his amazing contribution to society.
A few days ago, Matthew Maina, attracted the attention of the whole country after he jumped over State House perimeter wall in a bid to see the President.
Too bad his efforts landed him in remand. The teenage however received numerous offers from musicians wishing to assist him record his songs.
Today morning, Ghafla! learnt Jaguar made his way to Industrial Area Remand Prison to meet Matthew Maina.
According to reliable source present during Jaguar’s visit, the singer sat down with Matthew to hear his story.
The teen told Jaguar he dropped out of high school in form one after he failed to clear fee arrears. He decided to venture into music but then again he didn’t have money to record his songs; his reason of breaking into State House to seek help from Uhuru.
Instead of giving him money to pursue his music career, Jaguar offered to pay Matthew’s high school fees, from form one to form four.
He also promised to sponsor Matthew to record his songs once he completes his secondary education.
As if that’s not enough, the ‘Huu Mwaka’ hit maker has reportedly made a plea to Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogemba not to jail the 16-year-old arguing that he jumped over State House wall out of desperation.
