Starflix Premieres Bourne Legacy Tonight

Starflix Prestige will be one of the first cinemas in the country to premiere the highly anticipated espionage thriller, Bourne Legacy.

The film is the fourth in the Bourne series that previously invcluded the Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum. The Bourne Legacy is a reboot of the films which came after previous director, Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon dropped out of the franchise.

The new film and preceeding projects will star franchise-inheriter (also taking over Mission Impossible) is multiple Academy Award nominee, Jeremy Renner. The actor recently appeared on Avengers and Thor as Hawk Eye. He got Oscar nominations for his lead role in The Hurt Locker (won Best Picture) and supporting role in The Town.

The film also stars Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener) and Edward Norton (Hulk). Taking over from Greengrass is director Tony Gilroy who has previously worked on all the Bourne films as a writer. He also co-wrote and directed Duplicity, Michael Clayton (Best Picture nominee). He also co-wrote the space actioner, Armageddon.

The 135-minute film will show at Starflix Prestige daily at 12:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m.
