Teamwork, Persistence and Always Believing….Popular Kenyan Dance Group Shares It’s Inspiring Journey to the Top

3 years, yes 3 years is what it took for them to have their first major break. I’m talking about Kenya’s all time dance crew Focus Beyond Imagination (FBI).

They first got together in the year 2006 while still in high school and it wasn’t until the year 2009 when they appeared in MOG’S major hit Let Him Go that things started materializing. They became the hottest thing in town and all of a sudden everybody wanted to work with them.

But how did they manage to keep it together of a cool 3 years? Well, first of all hard work was part of their pedigree, secondly, they were always persistent and then most importantly, they believed in themselves. Yes, believing in your capabilities is of paramount importance.

It is through failing and getting back up with the sky as the limit that they have earned trips all over the world the most recent being San Diego where they were participating in the World Hip Hop competition. It is also through this believing that they have cut out a niche for themselves making lots of dough in the process.
