In the battle of newspapers, Standard Newspaper and Nation often goes head to head as they are giants. But who between the two is truly King?

Well a new poll by GeoPoll, the world’s largest mobile survey platform revealed that Nation truly is king

On Sunday for example Nation has a reach of 5,141,000 while Standard reaches 1,478,000 million people. The Nairobian, a weekly newspaper known for the sauciest scandals and human interest stories still manages to outsell the Star which is a daily newspaper.

The People Daily a free newspaper also enjoys a wider reach every Sunday compared to the Standard whose cash cows are Wednesdays and Sundays.

But despite its wider reach as compared to its competitors and the fact that its available for ‘free’ Nation still beats it.However, it offers serious competition and it shouldn’t be ignored.
