Citizen led the way with their figure-hugging cute little dresses and soon Kenyan female news anchors were shedding the unsightly mannish blazers and stiff hideous skirts for more appealing outfits.

This move however did not come with its share of controversy with numerous people complaining that the outfits were too revealing or seductive and soon a number of celebrities such as Lillian Muli and more recently Sophia Wanuna were slammed for their inappropriate clothing.
