He even surprised me when I learnt he was a professional basketball player. The first time the godfather of Genge was seen on the court, many thought he was only doing it for fun. (Including me, thought it was a sport for folks who were very agile).

As a matter of fact, it Nonini is following in the footsteps of retired NBA player, Shaquille O’Neal. The two are heavily built body-wise (except Shaq is tall) and they both use basketball to impact positively on the lives of others.

Nonini is using the sport to raise funds to help the less fortunate in society. He revealed he was raising money for Bondeni Childrens Home as basketball tournament resumes this coming weekend.
