Kenya’s ‘it’ celebrity couple Wahu and Nameless were not only pioneers in the music industry but were also the first official celebrity couple.

At the toy shop the other day, i overheard Tumiso and another little girl discussing dolls. “Which one do you think is prettier?” Tumi asked, holding out 2 dolls, one blonde blue eyed, one dark with a cute afro. The other little girl pointed at the blonde blue eyed girl, and proceeded to say why: “her hair is better, her skin is better, her eyes…” Tumi said “but this one looks more like us!” holding up the black doll. “i think you’re really pretty! Do you not think you’re pretty?” Oh! i would have died with pride.
