This Is the Woman That Made Robert Alai Cry

There are those people that make the most hardcore criminals and activists and the thought of them breaking down into tears is unimaginable.

But I have come to realize that the strong façade that was well manicured over the years breaks down and they show that they are real humans. And such is the case of Alai who could not help but cry when Hyvon Ng’etich crawled to the finishing line in one of the most epic moments ever recorded in a Marathon.

The event captured hollow-eyed Hyvon inch towards the finishing line, clinging to hope and having more determination that I have ever seen.

The word ‘brave’ has become overused and thrown around willy-nilly, but in Hyvon’s case this statement rings 100% true.
