Top 15 Under 30 Female TV Personalities. Did Your Favorite TV Personality Make It To The List? Find out Below

Each year, Forbes Magazine unveils a list of the youngest game changers, the movers and shakers in commerce and those driving the ever-shifting world that is the media and other arenas.

Today we borrow a leaf from this great magazine and give you a list of those who have nabbed coveted spots in TV and they are all under 30.

Here are the top 15 under 30 on Kenyan TV

Edith Kimani-KTN

Doe-eyed, slender and charming, Edith is every media house’s dream.

She was discovered by KTN in their talent search “The Presenter” a show that is in now on season two in their pursuit to discover an Edith of sorts. She joined the talent search after her younger sister Samantha challenged her to try during the auditions in 2009. She valiantly fought her way to the top beating out the best in the game despite losing her father during the competition. And after all her blood sweat and tears she came out on top and as they say, the rest is history.

Nancy Kacungira- KTN

The dashing news anchor who is a few months shy of 30 has boasted of working with the best in the game including NTV Uganda a reporter then as a news anchor. This was before she joined KTN where she works her magic on Prime Time news.

Grace Msalame-Kiss TV

She hosts ‘Graced’ on Kiss TV and just like her name, this mother of two is never short of grace.

Kamene Goro

Probably the youngest on this list. Michelle Kamene Goro has become a fan favorite at Ebru TV and she is just 22. If she continues doing what she is doing, by 25, this young lass will be TV Gold.

Michelle Morgan

On TV she is oft spoken yet authoritative. The K24 news anchor may seem lady-like but she is a tom-boy at heart and opts for the rucksack instead of a hand bag and loves motorbikes.

Yvonne Maingey

Her first stint on TV was as a chubby-cheek pre-teen Yvonne Maingi at Club Kiboko on KTN before she came back to TV as a news anchor at NTV. A job she performed well before she took a sabbatical leave to pursue her PHD. If that is not inspiring, I don’t know what is!

Hassan Sarah

She started out as an actress in Tahidi High before joining ‘Saints’. She made her Debut as a TV host on Mashariki Mix, before adding The Wedding Show and Discovery 254 to her portfolio.

Chero

Chero took over from Ian Mugoya on Straight Up and from what I gather; she is doing a pretty good job. However this is not her first stint on TV having worked as a host on E-curve

Victoria Rubadiri

The incredible Rubadiri started out at Captal F.M before she moved to NTV

Amina Abdi

She started out her career in radio at Homeboyz and Capital F.M before she jumped onto our screens as a host on Maisha superstar.

Wanjiru

You probably first came across her in Kagwe Mungai’s ‘Biggest Fan’ where she played the role of the object of affection of an overzealous fan. She now hosts alongside Martin Kimathi on ‘Teen Republik’

Betty Kyallo

The mother of one and Dennis Okari’s Fiancé describes herself as one of those girls who love cars, she passes time watching Formula One and Motorsport. Her dream to become a news anchor was almost ruined by a Double M which hit and Ran over her, leaving her hospitalized for 2 months and with half of her face scarred. But as they say, he is a God of miracles as her skin grew back and she was able to pursue her dream of being a news anchor.

Anita Nderu

She started out on NTV’s Teen Republik before moving to Capital F.M and now Capital TV which is available on You Tube

Joey Muthengi

It wouldn’t be a top 15 under 30 if Joey want there now would it? Joey honed her hosting skills on short-lived show ‘Can You dance’ before joining Mitch for the last season of TPF. She currently host ‘Sugar and Spice on Ebru TV’

Angeline Wanjeri

Infamously known as the perkiest presenter on Kenyan TV, Angeline Wanjeri jumped onto our screens as part of the new and lively crew picked for the new Kiss TV.
