Top Recording Label Unveils The Two Most High Rated “D-Listers”(Photos)
Since the launch of Candy Clear Channel, underground and upcoming artists have had a platform to launch their artistic careers; Candy n Candy Records ultimately unveils the finest artist of this week, who tops all other artists with the MOST increase of views for this week.
“IRON KLAD” winner of this weeks’ Candy Clear Channel Artist of the week, is a two member all guys group who grew up together. At the tender age of 10 they wrote their first spoken word but as they grew older and got to experience poetry much deeper they were introduced to Hip Hop music by a mutual friend and since then, they have never looked back.
Free styling to dope beats and mixes they wrote their first single “Thugs cry” followed by many other rhythms. They performed for the first time at Graffins College where one of them schools at and the reception received was much great than they had anticipated because they each walked away with Certificates from the Institution.
In 2003, after clearing high school, they decided to go professional and pursue music full time. The name “Iron Klad” was chosen because it would give them credit and respect especially in the street given that in ancient times it was used to showcase power and strength and that’s the effect and impact they would like to have.
In their free times Joel Alukwe, member and founder of “Iron Klad” loves to paint and was given an opportunity to showcase at an event “SHIFT” and won as the most innovative in that category. Peter Ochieng’s hobby is dancing and he’s managed to perform at various shows.

They are young, fresh and energetic young men whose aim is to bring quality, originality and difference through unique release of their music. Despite financial constraints that has restrained them from recording a single yet, they have high hopes and determination and great things working and coming our ways.
