TPF5’s Ruth Matete and Jackson in a Collabo

Few months after winning 5 mil after the culmination of the 5th edition of Tusker Project Fame, Ruth Matete is not sitting pretty. The 26 year old singer is about to release her first single with former fellow contestant and the second runner up, Jackson Kalimba.

“Yes we already have the song written and laid down,” revealed the Daystar University student to Campus Social. She further said that they are planning to do a song that will be universal. Ruth further divulges that their project will be a wedding song.

Ruth admits that although much has changed for her since winning the coveted prize, she still frequents the places she used to be a patron prior to TPF5. “I can do lunch at local fast food outlets since winning. I have actually gone to Sanford, Moi Avenue twice”. Ruth told her fans to expect her album before Christmas (a Christmas present perhaps?)

It is expected that the two singers will come out with a stunning work of art, that is, if their music prowess during their stint in the TPF5 academy is anything to go by. For now, let’s wait and see.
