TRAGIC: Another Great Actor Succumbs To Alcoholism

Stories of alcohol-induced shenanigans elicit a barrel of laughs and we enjoy a bottle of alcohol from time to time, but we forget how debilitating alcohol can be when you are addicted to it.

We recently lost a great entertainer to alcohol his name; “Crispo” Ogolla to this scourge. This is according to a Facebook Post by Churchill comedian Titus Wagithomo who also revealed that alcoholism is a huge problem in the entertainment industry:

Just saaaaaad. Another great Thespian succumbs to alcoholism. This is a great problem we have in the industry. We talk about it, joke about it but it is a silent killer. It is with great disbelief that we say, Rest in peace “Crispo” Ogolla.

He also revealed the latest news on Crespo’s funeral arrangements:
On Saturday 4th April all the artistes will go for a night vigil at Kariobangi South. And on Sunday 5th April a major Harambee will be held in Crispo’s honor at The Kenya National Theatre (KNT) from 3pm.
