TUNARUKA TUKILALA

The Kuruka Maisha Foundation is bringing Kenya its first ever ‘Grand Acrobatic Dance Musical’ on the 24th and 25th of February 2012.

The show, the first of its kind, will be live and exclusive at the Chandaria Auditorium, Oshwal Centre Westlands, Nairobi and is aptly titled ‘Tunaruka Tukilala’.

It features children and young adults performing on stage to express what they have been through first hand on the harsh streets of the city. These are young and promising individuals who have been rehabilitated through the arts to utilize their passion and talent to share this spectacular and unique story.

The show will also feature an ongoing documentary film project by the foundation alongside the state production, which is writen by American conceptual artist Yazmany Arboleda. It is directed by Nick Balongo and features original compositions by the ecclectic Kenyan songstress Nina Ogot.
