Ugandan Artists Atlas da African Drops a New Hiphop Jam ft Lilian Mbabazi

Ugandan Rapper, Atlas da African has been breaking the internet with his new hit song ‘New Day’ featuring the beautiful vocalist Liliana Mbambazi. The song is actually considered to be the most expensive video in Uganda under the biggest marketing manager Mr. Ali of Talent Africa. There are talks the remix will be out soon, and will feature the who and who rappers in Kenya.

Most of his life, Atlas lived away from his country. Together with his family they fled Uganda due to extreme wars. Through the influence of rappers in the late 80’s early 90’s, Hip Hop grew on him. As a small boy, he started jotting down lyrics and at age 12, had mastered enough skills to open up for Will Smith, Redman, Black Moon, Run DMC, ICE-T and LL cool J in a group he formed with local friends under the alias ATLAS. In 2004 he appeared on Much Music television after winning a nationwide freestyle competition to open up for Fabulous which held over 10000 participants.

Though Atlas is working on his first studio album “LBR” he is not new to the microphone, Atlas has collaborated with some of the industry’s best MC’s and artist in both Africa and internationally to include Nipsey Hussle, Mobb Deep, Kool G Rap, Smif and Wessun and his Label mates Radio & Weasel. His flow is direct and crisp with an impeccable ability to delivery lyrics that represents Africa and relate to a global community.
