Uganda’s Chameleone Mauls President Museveni On Kenyan Soil. Is He Going To Escape His Wrath?
Uganda is among the countries in Africa known to be conservative, thanks to its president, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Since he took power several years ago, the veteran head of state has held hard-lines on pertinent issues, courting controversy every time there is a global dilemma.
It started with miniskirts where Ugandan women were banned from wearing miniskirts. Then came the controversial gay bill that sought to ban homosexuality in Uganda.
The bill rattled the international world and donors threatened to withdraw their services in Uganda. This, however, did not move Museveni an inch.
And now his own citizen, veteran singer Jose Chameleone has made utterances that are likely to rattle the no-nonsense head of state.
In an exclusive interview with Ghafla Kenya, Chameleone who has been in the country for some days said that he does not support what Museveni is doing in Uganda.
