Unbelievable! Inooro FM has the highest % of heavy listeners
I am still shocked at this discovery. Again, I expected this slot to be filled by the likes of Kiss 100, Ghetto Radio or Classic 105. Inooro FM takes this one hands down.
According to the KARF Q1 Survey 2012, there are three types of listener; light listeners (listen to the radio for about 5hrs/week), medium listeners (10hrs/week) and heavy listeners (10hrs/week).
Inooro FM takes most of the heavy listeners, 36% to be precise. Classic FM comes in second on the heavy listeners, taking 33% of them, with Radio Citizen taking 3Rd place with 31% of the listeners. This is more shocking considering that this particular survey of listernership only targets the Greater Nairobi (i.e with Thika), and not the whole of Kenya as the rest of the surveys we have covered lately.
