Unveiling Gospel’s New Kid on the Block

When you talking about new Gospel artistes, the sensational Chuchu comes to mind, if you’ve not seen this lass or heard her songs, I really cannot figure out under which rock you reside in. Chuchu first graced our screens in 2012 when she featured in Jimmy Gait’s song “Ole” alongside Holy Dave. This song was a huge hit! From there, Chuchu started her solo musical journey and released “Upendo”, Beautiful and “Naondoka”. In 2013, this versatile gospel artist was nominated for the Groove Awards but unfortunately didn’t scoop the award.

Her “Naondoka” worship song is deep! It basically talks about how she is leaving the worldly ways of life and is seeking refuge in God. Making a strong message that we can all relate to “…ya Kale yame pita Baba, naja kwako…nisamehe” – She is currently putting together the video for this song which should be out within the next few weeks.

Her undying love of God is expressed immensely through all her songs that are really inspiring.

Currently working with various proven producers, Chuchu promises an album release by mid-next year. With different projects underway including a definite reggae hit single “Adonai” she should be dropping in the next few days in which she has featured fellow gospel artist Guardian Angel, this gospel artist aims to take the industry with a storm.

Raised under strong Christian background, this lass is grounded on Christian beliefs and works tirelessly on her objective of praising the Lord, entertaining her fans and impacting the society positively.

Raised in Limuru and the third born in a family of four, she is not all about her silky voice, her fashion sense is on point! Dressing in only what makes her comfortable; she hits the nail every single time she steps out.

Her singing career started at a tender age when she joined the church choir before she became a professionally a full time artiste.
