Video Whiz Adam Juma Halts Directing Music Videos
Prodigy video director Adam Juma of Visual Lab Next Level has announced that he has stopped doing music videos.
The Tanzanian video director is attributed for having done some of the biggest music videos in Africa like Baadae by Ommy Dimpoz, Mama Nitilie by Ray C, Z Anto’s video Binti Kiziwi and Nakaaya’s Mr Politician among others.
Speaking exclusively to Bongo 5, a leading Tanzanian entertainment blog, Adam revealed that he is currently working with different NGOs on community education.
“Kusema kwamba ndio business yangu, right now am not doing, lakini kuna wasanii bado nawasiliana nao kuwasaidia kibiashara, kimaendeleo, so am still around lakini kuna vitu vingi ambavyo naviorganise moja ni kuorganise vitu kama forums za wasanii, ndivyo vitu ambavyo naviangalia sana”
He has also stated that he is not doing any video for capital gains. “Sifanyi video kibiashara, mtu akinilipa nifanye video sifanyi naye.”
Adam thinks that there will be no vacuum now that he’s taking a hiatus from video directing arguing that there a lot of young people who are talented at directing videos.
Apart from being a music director, Adam is also an actor having featured in Kenyan drama series, Changes, as Minja Kabwe boyfriend to ditzy and glamorous Cindy Kamau (DJ Pierra Makena).
