We have Not Taken Over Yet; Singer Bahati Speaks His Mind
Gospel Kid Bahati maybe rocking the industry but he still feels he has not done enough yet to reach the level where the Lord wants him to be.
I have to admit that there is no such an amount of success that one can achieve to say that he/she is satisfied with being successful. As for me I would say Bahati is on top of his game but according to him, he is not yet there. Bahati feels the gospel industry does not having a bigger impact outside the country as compared the secular counterpart. “We are big in Kenya but Africa does not even recognize us; secular artistes are the ones who have representing us in Channel O, MTV etc” explain Bahati.
Bahati disclosed his dream of wanting to tell his story in Nigeria and also making a huge impact across the continent with his music. It is a dream that can actually happen if first of all the country’s artistes establish their own unique identity like what the continental giants-Nigeria and South Africa have done.
