What Is It With Kenyans Tormenting The US President? Another Popular Kenyan Face Gives Obama Headache (Photo)

One gets to understand why former Safaricom CEO, Michael Joseph, said Kenyans had peculiar habits! These developments in regard to US President, Barack Obama, makes sense of MJ’s statement.

Ever since the world’s most powerful man announced he will be visiting his father’s homeland for an OFFICIAL visit in July, Kenyans have been bombarding him with ‘insane’ proposals and requests.

To start with, two Kenyan pedophiles, lawyer Felix Kiprono and herder, Jeff Ole Kishau, had the audacity of requesting the leader of the free world for his 16-year-old daughter’s hand in marriage.

As if that isn’t enough torture for the President who runs the world’s affairs, Siaya Governor, Cornel Rasanga, has also come up with his requests for the American President.

The Siaya boss wants Obama to build him a hospital and to financially support a local university in his County.

Rasanga argues that since the US President is a product of Tom Mboya’s airlift program, he is obliged to help the County where his father came from.

The Governor is oblivious of the fact that Obama doesn’t have the authority of using America’s taxpayers money to help his father’s County.

Plus Obama isn’t a billionaire, in both American and Kenyan context. Forbes estimates Obama’s net worth to be $ 7 million or Kes 680 Million.

Kenyan politicians are far richer than Barack Obama. Kenyans must get rid of this culture of ‘gonya’ (saidia).

Such kind of ‘absurd’ proposals are the kind of things that can even make the US President be scared of coming to Kenya, presumably.
